Born Robert Zimmerman, Dylan grew up Minnesota, and played in various bands as a teenager with a growing passion for American folk music and blues. He moved to New York City in 1961, performing poetry and music in Greenwich Village. He went on to record albums and songs such as Blowin’ In The Wind and Like A Rolling Stone, which made him one of the most influential musicians of all time.
